statement 私たちが生まれてから最初に所属する「家族」は、環境をベースに築かれるドメスティックな関係性。その後、恋人、友人、同僚など、自らの手で獲得していくインティメイトな関係性の数々。

関係性そのものに焦点を置く作品群は、その様々な在り方を提示するだけでなく、隣にいる誰かとの関係を考えるきっかけを作ります。

本企画では、会場に複数のエリアを設け、それぞれのエリアを個人の記憶の一部を想起させるような異なる設定を持たせた鑑賞空間とします。その形態で各々が感じる物理的・精神的な安定と変化、異なるアイレベル（視線の高さ）を体感しながら鑑賞することで、作品/作者/情報/別の鑑賞者と自由な距離を置くことを可能にし、鑑賞者自らがドメスティックな関係性 / インティメイトな関係性について再考することを促します。

ドメスティック【domestic】家族的であるさま。家庭的であるさま。また、家事に関するさま。

インティメイト【intimate】親密な、懇意な、(…と)親密で、懇意にして、一身上の、個人的な、詳細な、深い、心の奥底からの、衷心の。

The family, to which we first belong at birth, is a domestic relationship based on our environment. Thereafter, we acquire on our own, a number of intimate relationships, such as lovers, friends, colleagues etc. These filmwork focus on relationships themselves, not only presenting their various ways of existing, but also creating an opportunity to think about the relationship with someone right next to you.

installation リビング、ダイニング、和室などを想起させる空間に、モニターまたはプロジェクションで映像作品が上映されており、全ての空間で同時に同じ作品が流れている。短編または中編の映像作品１５本程のプログラムがループで流れており、１日に２回弱ループする。上映中、鑑賞者はその空間に居座る、または別のエリアへ移動しながら、それぞれの作品と好みの距離を測る。かつて存在した「出入り自由入れ替えなし」の名画座でたっぷり時間を過ごすように、そこにあるインスタレーションを見つめ徘徊するように、開かれていると同時にパーソナルスペースにもなる公共空間。

A monitor or projection in a setting such as a living room, dining room or a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, showing the same film work at the same time. The audience is encouraged to sit, stand, or move to a different area during the screening, which makes it possible to put a flexible distance between the viewer and the work (the author, the information, and other viewers).The main screening space, which simulates a living room, provides a viewing environment similar to a single-screen cinema style format.We aim to create a space where films are constantly playing / looping the entire program and where the audience can leave and enter at any time.
